Process to Commission
Looking to create a unique piece of art for yourself or someone special? Follow these steps to get started:
Step 1: Pricing Overview
To get an idea of the cost, refer to the approximate pricing chart below.
Pricing depends on size, medium (acrylic or oil), and subject. Framing and shipping are additional costs. If you don't find a size that you are looking for in the pricing chart below then please do email me.
Step 2: Contact Me
Email me at josartspace5@gmail.com with the following details:

A reference photo of what you’d like painted.

If you don’t have a specific picture, send a few ideas, and we can brainstorm together to create a piece that fits your space.
Step 3: Approval and Creation Process

Planning: Once the picture, details, and total cost (excluding framing/shipping) are agreed upon, I begin work.

Timeline: 4–6 weeks minimum (longer for oil paintings due to drying time).

I will share progress photos at various stages for your feedback.

Realistic changes can be made during the early stages.

Final approval will include the option for minor touch-ups.

Framing (Optional):

I can provide framing options (without glass) for an additional cost.

Alternatively, I recommend framing locally to reduce shipping costs

Step 4: Payment and Delivery

Once the painting is approved, the final payment (painting + framing + shipping) must be made prior to shipping.

If you choose not to frame, the payment will include only the painting and shipping costs.
Important Notes

Custom Work Policy: I appreciate your interest in our custom pieces. Each item is meticulously handcrafted, which means I cannot accommodate returns or refunds. If your item arrives damaged, please take photos and send them to me within 24 hours of delivery. Should the damage be a result of shipping, I would be happy to provide a replacement at no extra charge.
